Matcha Protein - Energy Bliss Balls



What is matcha?

Matcha is packed with antioxidants including the powerful EGCg (one cup of matcha has as many antioxidants as 10 cups of brewed green tea) -Boosts metabolism and burns calories -Detoxifies effectively and naturally -Calms the mind and relaxes the body -Is rich in fiber, chlorophyll and vitamins -Enhances mood and aids in concentration -Provides vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc and magnesium -Prevents disease -Lowers cholesterol and blood sugar


Ingredients:

Garbanzo beans (cooked)

Dates

Coconut Oil

Almonds

Vanilla Extract

Coconut Shreds


In a food processor, process 5-8 dates, then add 1.5 cups of cooked Garbanzo beans and 1/2 cup of sliced almonds. Process til somewhat smooth adding in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (optional on the coconut oil). Then add 1 teaspoon of matcha to the batch and process it until somewhat even.


I like to then take it out in a large bowl and work it with my hands for a bit til things really combine together. Go ahead a take a spoonful of the concoction and roll it in a ball in your hand. Then roll in coconut shreds. Serve and eat!


This can be kept in the refrigerator and eaten at a later time also!
